SUCSID Consortium’s Members Meeting in Sumy (Ukraine)
On May 21st – 24th, 2013 at Sumy State University was held another meeting-seminar due to realization of the project “Inter-University Start-Up Centers for students’ innovations development and promotion”. The meeting was dedicated to analyzing of existing experience of the consortium’s members in development and implementation of e-learning systems, using e-learning platforms and shared electronic environment. On the meeting 24 partners from the consortium’s institutions/organizations were presented.
The overall objective of the given meeting is to explore and generalize each partner’s experience in using modern information and computer technologies in the educational process. The decision about “development environment” and “delivery environment” which will be used in order to design and deliver content of 5 courses within the functioning of the Start-Up Center will be made on a basis of the best practice. In four universities from PCs the MOODLE platform is used (Kharkiv National University of Economics, National Academy of Municipal Economy in Kharkiv, Belarussian National Technical University, Comrat State University), ATutor is used at Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University, and at Sumy State University own software to develop and deliver online courses was designed. The solution about what kind of software will be adopted to deliver educational content to students will be proposed after conducting a survey.
The model structure, objectives, tasks and indicators to evaluate activities of the Start-Up Center that are planned to be created in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus were reviewed by partners from Instituto Superior de Gestao and Kharkiv National University of Economics, all necessary changes were made.
The work-plan for the upcoming meeting at Instituto Superior de Gestao was presented by the Portuguese partners and some adjustments in order to correspond with a current state of realization of the project were introduced.
