Pilot training on entrepreneurship and business planning of Simon Kuznets KhNUE

Under the joint Franco-Ukrainian program of Master MBA “Business Informatics” was held pilot training on entrepreneurship and business planning. 25 students passed the two-week training materials developed by teachers of Simon Kuznets KhNEU in the European project TEMPUS SUCSID.

Student’s teams worked on five projects, which have been prepared in accordance with the procedure UNIDO, in various spheres of life: IT industry, education, recreation and health, etc.

In the process of developing of business projects the members of the teams took steps through all the stages from conception to justification of business idea: choose the target audience, justify expediency of investment in the development and improvement of the quality of goods and services; planned production, marketing organization and promotion of products and services to market.

On the 23d of June in 2014 the defense of business projects took place in a videoconference with professors from leading universities in France Montpellier 2 (Veronique Bessiere, Sophie Moser) and Lyon 2 (Jean-Hugues Chauchat). The teachers and coaches of the intercollegiate regional start-center «FIRST CAPITAL» Simon Kuznets HNEU took a part as experts in this conference. Presentations and reports were prepared in Ukrainian and French. Members of the joint Franco-Ukrainian commission praised the creativity and quality of development projects.

The survey after the conference showed high interest of the students in modern teaching methods. They estimated the training as an action-oriented, promoting the development of creativity and teamwork skills on innovative projects.
