Second Ideas Forum at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics
On 23th October, 2014 Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics hold the second Ideas Forum «FIRST CAPITAL EU».
The Forum was organized by regional interuniversity Start up center «FIRST CAPITAL», Enactus KhNUE student team, project TEMPUS SUCSID and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.
The event consisted of presentations of Ukrainian students’ start up projects and speeches of scientists and successful businessmen.
The following experts presented their presentations to Forum’s participants:
- Jean-Hugues Chauchat, professor of University Lumiere Lyon 2, coordinator of the European project «TEMPUS SUCSID», expert of Start-up center «FIRST CAPITAL» (Lyon, France)
- Natalia YAKUNINA, leader of VKontakte Ukrainian Headquarter (Kyiv, Ukraine)
- Ivan FEDORENKO, founder of rope park S-Park (Kharkiv, Ukraine)
- Grigoriy SOFRONI, Director of marketing agency “FEEDBACK” (Chisinau, Moldova)
- Oksana BORISENKO, Partner of business accelerator GrowthUP (Kyiv, Ukraine)
Experts of the Ideas Forum not only made presentations about successful start up projects, innovative technologies, innovations in marketing and entrepreneurship, but also took part in crash tests of students’ innovations.
Before the Forum nine best projects among 47 registered students’ projects were selected and invited to participate in this event. Among selected projects were:
- Project “+2. The Rain Children”, software that contains developing games for children with autism spectrum
- Project of reconstruction of Savkin Ravine in Kharkiv
- Website for sale of designer furniture «FAQ in Decor»
- etc.
The project «BIOHEAT» won by a vote of experts and the project «BLINDFOLD» won the audience voting.
More than 300 students and professionals who are interested in Start-up movement and entrepreneurship attended the event.
