Start-up Centre of BNTU in the isle of childhood

On March 14, 2015 Startup-center of BNTU visited the National Children’s Educational and Health Center “Zubrenok”.

During the event, a presentation of the activities of the Startup Center of BNTU was delivered by one of the Centre’s mentors Maxim Zhurkevich. During the presentation, secondary school students got acquainted with the Center’s aims, objectives and services provided.

Students were not only listening, they also actively communicated with experts and became familiar with the developments of young scientists of BNTU. Afterwards, the students took part in a business game with the following task: to develop a plan for the survival on the planet, which consists only of titanium. Teams approached the problem with enthusiasm and bold ideas.

A similar event has already been held on February 15, 2014. During that event, the Start-up Centre of BNTU organized an exhibition where the participants were able to get acquainted with the developments of young scientists of BNTU, to ask questions on various aspects of the activities of the Centre and University.

At the end of the meeting, a business game “Project of the Future” was held. Each student team presented its original project. It is worth noting that the students have shown high creativity and despite their young age, have considered technical requirements of their projects, possible applications, safety and environmental friendliness.

Winners and participants of the business game were awarded with prizes.
