Start-Up Centre of BNTU was introduced to the leading universities of the country

On June 17-18, 2014 Polessky State University (Pinsk, Belarus) hosted the Council of Vice-Rectors for Research Activity of Belarusian universities.

Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Maskevich, Head of the Department for Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Education Vasily Safonov and Vice-Rectors for Research Activity from more than 30 universities of the Republic of Belarus including Vice-Rector of BNTU Fiodar Romaniuk participated in the Council.

Within the period of two days the attendees exchanged experience on improving the scientific development of the Republic of Belarus; research application; development of knowledge-based research laboratories, innovative enterprises; export of scientific products and services; development of material and technical base of modern universities; international activities. Within the framework of the Council a number of roundtables were conducted on several topics: industry research, development of pedagogical cluster, university research environment, improvement of post-graduate training efficiency, etc.

Special attention was given to the development of youth innovative entrepreneurship support mechanisms. Therefore the presentation of the Start-up Centre of BNTU, distributed during the Council, attracted sincere interest among the representatives of the universities.
