Summer School on entrepreneurship for senior pupils «First Capital junior» in Simon Kuznets KhNUE

On June 22-27, 2015 Summer School on entrepreneurship for senior pupils «First Capital junior» was held at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, in the Start-up Center «FIRST CAPITAL».

The Summer School was organized by the Information Systems Department, the Faculty of Economic Informatics of KhNUE, the start-up center «FIRST CAPITAL» and the project TEMPUS SUCSID.

The training “The art of start-up projects’ presentation”

The main objective of the Summer School «First Capital junior» was the development of entrepreneurial skills, creativity, leadership and teamwork skills as well as skills in using modern information technologies for the development and promotion of startups.

During the week schoolchildren participated in the trainings “Entrepreneurship”, “Promotion of start-up projects”, “The art of start-up projects’ presentation”, “Cloud services for start-up projects’ development and promotion” which helped to gain knowledge and skills on the Canvas business model creation and start-up projects’ presentation. All classes were conducted in the form of games that created the basis for efficient teamwork, creativity and idea generation.

18 schoolchildren participated in the Summer School «First Capital junior» and they were merged into 4 teams. After the training, the best teams have been identified, and each pupil received a certificate of participation.
