EU Commissioner within the frameworks of the official visit to Kharkiv visited S.Kuznets KhNUE

On June 19, 2015 EU Commissioner on the issues of European policy of neighborhood and negotiations on expansion Iohannes Hahn and European Union Ambassador in Ukraine, Head of Representative Office of EU in Ukraine Yan Tombinski within the frameworks of the official visit to Kharkiv visited S. Kuznets KhNUE.

S.Kuznets KhNUE rector Volodimir Ponomarenko, member of national team of experts ERASMUS+ on reformation of higher education and TEMPUS SUCSID project’s national coordinator Iryna Zolotaryova, deputy rector Volodimir Yermachenko told about realization of projects supported by EU, activities of EU Information Center at the university and interuniversity startup center «First Capital», shared plans concerning the following projects and initiatives of co-operation with European universities and companies.

In the process of the visit the Commissioner’s lecture, a meeting with students and professors of eleven universities of Kharkiv were held.

Besides, during the visit of EU Commissioner dissemination point worked at the university’s lobby, where information materials about EU projects which involve Kharkiv universities were presented including banners, brochures and leaflets about the TEMPUS SUCSID project and inter-university startup center «First Capital».
