VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “IT Industry Development: Problems and On 17th April, 2014 VI International scientific conference “IT Industry Development: Problems and Perspectives”
On 17th April, 2014 VI International scientific conference “IT Industry Development: Problems and Perspectives” was held at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (KhNUE). The purpose of the conference was to facilitate the exchange of experience and results of scientific research in the fields of information technologies, information security, startups and innovative entrepreneurship.
This year a new section “Startups and innovative entrepreneurship” was first included into a program of the conference. SUCSID project was presented in this section by speakers who are members of KhNUE SUCSID team.
These speakers were:
Professor Iryna Zolotaryova and Serhii Znakhur. Subject of the report – “Experience of creating and functioning of start-up center”. Objective of this report was to enhance innovation policy and entrepreneurship activity in Ukraine by improvement of creativity, competitiveness and employability of Universities graduates and increase cooperation between HEIs, innovation and investment companies for knowledge commercialization. An experience of creating and functioning of Kharkov start-up center “First Capital” was considered in the report.
Ganna Plekhanova. Subject of the report – “Development of innovative youth entrepreneurship on the basis of regional inter-university start-up centers”. In the report the author considers problems of the development of youth innovative entrepreneurship in post-Soviet countries and proposes mechanism to support entrepreneurs and to promote start-up projects via inter-university regional Start-up centers.
Olena Plokha. Subject of the report – “Improving of control of the start-up projects development trainings”. The report discusses the problem of students’ control and evaluation during trainings. As examples, trainings on the development of start-up projects were considered.
Besides director of the Start-up center “First Capital” Serhii Znakhur gives his presentation at the plenary. The subject of the presentation was “Marketing for Start-up projects”.
All results of the conference were published in articles and abstract reports in the scientific journal.
